Happy New Year curvy fashionistas! 2016 is already off to a great start. I basically spent NYE and the rest of the weekend working on my 2016 vision board as well as my business plan (I suck at numbers so I gave myself plenty of time to work on it). And I am so excited to be opening Curve Conscious this spring in Philadelphia! There's still a lot to be done in order to get the doors open, so I'll be very focused on that, but will make it a point to keep up with this blog as much as possible. With that said, this is the very first blog post of the year. And it's so gooood! First of all, I'm glad that it's finally chilly enough on the East Coast to start wearing wool. It was a record breaking month in December for temps so I was basically wearing short sleeves without a coat every day! What is this? Miami!? LOL. Now I can start wearing winter styles and this is one of my favorite outfits so far! I love this look because it's classy but super fun. Plus, I was able to get bargains on the whole outfit! Bargain shopping for trendy clothes and shoes takes patience and persistence. So pulling this outfit together took some time, but worth the wait for me. I am absolutely in love with this wool plaid coat from Target. It fits me perfectly! What's even more cool is that my outfit (minus the coat) is under $100! Cream cowl sweater from Marshall's - $29 Camel suede skirt from Marshall's - $16.99 Vera Wang cable knit tights from Kohl's - $8.99 White Mountain camel suede wedge booties from Century 21 - $34.99 Here's to finding many more deals on stylish plus size clothing all year long! And if you're as excited as I am about Curve Conscious opening then send me a tweet or join the email list so you can be one of the first to know about the Grand Opening. See you soon!
